What is the CeMAP Module 1, 2 & 3 Virtual Classroom training course?
It is a legal requirement for all Mortgage Advisors in the UK to have a recognised Mortgage Advice qualification, with the most widely recognised being CeMAP.
This CeMAP® qualification package includes Virtual Classroom training for CeMAP Module 1, 2 & 3, which will help you gain the essential knowledge to pass your CeMAP® exams and embark on a career as a UK Mortgage Advisor.
What will you learn during your training?
CeMAP® Module 1 explores the Financial Services Environment, product range, UK Financial Services regulation, Data Protection, the FCA regulation, and UK taxation.
CeMAP® Module 2 teaches you about the mortgage application process, and potential issues borrowers may face, as well as mortgage law.
CeMAP Module 3 will help you to apply all that you have learnt throughout Modules 1 and 2, into typical scenarios that you will encounter throughout your career as a Mortgage Advisor.

The average salary for a Mortgage Advisor in the UK is £30k per annum. When you add your OTE to that number, you will earn closer to £50k per annum.

The CeMAP® Module 1 exam is a 2-hour objective exam made up of 100 multiple-choice questions. It will test your knowledge on UK Financial Regulation (UKFR), including:
- Unit 1 – Introduction to Financial Services Environment and Products
- Unit 2 – UK Financial Services and Regulation
CeMAP® Module 2 is a 2-hour objective exam made up of 100 multiple-choice questions. CeMAP® Module 3 exam is also 2 hours long, comprising of 6 case studies, each with 10 linked multiple-choice questions.
The units you’ll cover during the CeMAP® Module 2 & 3 exam include:
- Unit 3 – Mortgage Law, Policy, Practice and Markets
- Unit 4 – Mortgage Applications
- Unit 5 – Mortgage Payment Methods and Products
- Unit 6 – Mortgage Arrears and Post Completion Issues
- Unit 7 – Assessment of Mortgage Advice and Knowledge
Exams are registered with Ofqual, in the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF). The exam fee is £185 per module, and you can apply for your exam throughout the year and take it at a Pearson VUE centre.
After the advice given by the Government, NHS and WHO, we have taken the appropriate measures to ensure the safety of all our delegates attending our classrooms and events. This has been, and always will be, our number one priority.
